MANILA, Philippines – Senator Ma. Ana Consuelo “Jamby” Madrigal has something good to say about her nemesis, Senator Manuel Villar, after all.
After bashing Villar anew for his spending on political advertisements at the Philippine Daily Inquirer-sponsored debate at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Madrigal praised his colleague's mane.
"Maganda ang pagtina ng buhok niya [I like the way his hair is dyed]," Madrigal said when asked if she could say anything good about Villar.
At the debate, Madrigal also said that the government should institute programs that would restore the youth's faith in the country.
She also said that if she would become president, she would veto insertions on the budget and ensure that money would be channeled to agriculture, health, and small businesses.
