MANILA, Philippines – The people demanding that President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo announce her political plan now should just wait for the deadline on the filing of the certificate of candidacy on December 1, a Malacañang official said on Friday.

"She has not said anything [about any plan to run for public office]. Let's just wait until December 1. Let's have more suspense on this issue,'' Arroyo's election lawyer Romulo Macalintal said in a briefing.
